TYPE MOODY

TYPE MOODY is an original typeface and experimental album design system inspired by the technofunk aesthetic of Franc Moody’s “Dream in Colour”. Channeling the groove and glitch of analog synths, digital imperfection, the typeface is equal parts funky and futuristic, a typographic identity that dances between rhythm and rebellion.

Using Futura PT as the base, this typeface came to life with the use of Adobe Illustrator for manipulating the typeface forms, Adobe Photoshop for designing the vinyl covers, and Adobe After Effects for the motion graphic.
